Miss Lucy – album art

I was commissioned by Brisbane music artist Miss Lucy to create art for two single releases.

a brief was for something structured,but organic to represent the balance of emotional dualities explored in Miss Lucy’s music. Something like a playful, abstract and otherworldly labyrinth. So as well as drawing on my own visual art making style which leans this way, I looked to Hilma af Klint, Escher and Max Ernst as inspiration for creating abstracted forms to represent the playful, mystical and emotional.
